HTTP version 1 limits concurrent connections to 6 and HTTP/2 does not have this limit. What’s IPFS’s limit if there is one?
Thoses limits have nothing to do with the HTTP protocol, in theory all of these apps could use more connections if they wanted.
It’s just that the devs choosed to limit to thoses numbers for whatever reason (trade offs, avoiding diminishing returns, …).
IPFS doesn’t have a limit to my knowlege, however the code isn’t capable to handle too many requests and will slow down.
But it’s not a hard limit, it’s a soft limit imposed by the fact that IPFS is still not that fast.
